Moti Boness
Moti’s last position was President and CEO of IAI International (IAII) - a North American
subsidiary of Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI). In this capacity, Moti managed IAI’s commercial
and government aerospace activities in North America.
Moti has been involved with Aerospace, Government and Commercial business for 40 years –
the last 25 years in Commercial Aviation. Activities included technical and management. As the
Corporate Vice President, Moti managed the development and production of several corporate
jets – the Astra SPX, the G150 and the G200 – and was responsible for establishing the joint
venture between IAI and Gulfstream Aerospace Company.
Under Moti’s management, IAI was a first tier subcontractor to various U.S. and European
aerospace OEMs (Boeing, Lockheed-Martin, Goodrich and others).
Moti was Chairman of the Board of Directors of IAI’s AstraJet Company and a member of the
Galaxy Aerospace Board of Directors.
Moti has a B.Sc. (cum laude) and M.Sc. degree from the Technion (Israel Institute of
Technology) in Aeronautical Engineering, qualified for a Ph.D. from UCLA in System
Engineering and completed post graduate programs in marketing and finance.
Randy Brinkley
Randy is Managing Partner of Brinkley & Associates Company, a private investment and
aerospace consulting firm. Randy is also a limited partner and member of the Operating
Executive Committee for J.F. Lehman & Company, a private equity investment firm. Randy was
also Chief Executive Officer of Rocketplane Kistler Inc., a commercial space transportation
company from 2004 to 2007.
Randy was formerly President of Boeing Satellite Systems Inc. (BSS), the world's largest
manufacturer of commercial communication satellites and prior to that was Senior Vice President
for Hughes Space and Communications Company. Prior, at NASA, Randy was the Program
Manager for the International Space Station (ISS) from 1994 until 1999. He was responsible for
the integration of Russia’s participation in the ISS Program and the successful on-orbit assembly
of the first elements of the ISS. Prior, Randy was Mission Director of the Hubble Space Telescope
Repair Mission. Prior, Randy was R&D manager of advanced aircraft systems at the McDonnell
Douglas Corporation.
Randy was a combat veteran serving in the U.S. Marine Corps for 25 years before retiring as a
Colonel. As a fighter pilot, Randy was the Navy’s Flight Instructor of the Year and the Marine
Corps’ Aviator of the Year, and has flown more than 4,000 hours in 42 types of aircraft, including
the F-18 Hornet and AV-8B Harrier. Randy received a B.S. degree from the University of North
Carolina and an M.S. degree from Boston University, is a graduate of the Navy Fighter Weapons
School (TOPGUN), Amphibious Warfare School, NATO Defense College, and the Marine Corps
School of Engineering.
Randy has received numerous awards for achievement in aerospace, among them are the NASA
Distinguished Service Medal and two NASA Outstanding Leadership Medals, the 1993 Aviation
Week and Space Technology Laurels Award, and the National Aviation Association’s Robert J.
Collier Trophy in 1993 for his efforts as Mission Director of the Hubble Telescope Repair Mission.
Randy is inducted into the Smithsonian’s Aviation Hall of Fame as Program Manager of NASA’s
International Space Station. Other awards are the Space Achievement Award from the U.S.
Space Foundation and also the Nelson P. Jackson Aerospace Award from the National Space
Club.
Justin Kuykendall
Justin has broad and deep experience in growing both aviation and technology companies
gained over a variety of business models. His consulting practice spans both manned and
unmanned aviation, providing development, strategic, and operational insight to groups in the
private aviation, aerial fire-fighting, and ISR arenas.
Long-term consulting engagements include serving as Chief Operating Officer of Alta Vista Aero
to develop a unique model in fractional aircraft ownership and social media, CFO and EVP of
Business Development for Jet Linx Aviation where he led the acquisition of charter management
companies, development of West Coast FBO operations for JetNow, and leadership of the
charter management fleet of ACM Aviation during its acquisition by a competitor.
Prior to his consulting practice, Justin served as COO of Apex Aviation, a company formed to
acquire and operate four aviation service companies in the West Coast providing fuel,
maintenance, and aircraft management to many of the most recognizable names in the
technology landscape of the San Francisco Bay area.
Justin serves on several corporate boards and public advisory commissions. He holds a BS in
Accounting from the University of Montana and has studied International Mediation at Erasmus
University in the Netherlands. He also holds software development and project management
certifications from EDS’ Systems Engineering Development program.
Chuck Lubash
Chuck is a founder of Paragon & Company, a merchant banking firm, and a shareholder and
Chairman of Glidepath Capital Partners. Paragon is a merchant banker specializing in strategic
positioning of aerospace and related firms. In the financial business since 1995, Chuck has been
active in capital raises, merger and acquisitions, divestitures and strategic advisory.
Chuck was one of the founders of Transworld Services, Inc., an international engineering and
technical support firm for the aerospace and nuclear power industries, and was Transworld’s
President and CEO for 30 years. During this period, Transworld went public, expanded
internationally, made strategic acquisitions, billed over a half billion dollars, and had peak
employment of 4,000.
Transworld provided technical services on both military and NASA space programs as well as
military and commercial aircraft development. Space programs included; Titan II, Minuteman,
Saturn/Apollo, and the Space Shuttle. In military aircraft, programs include; F-15, F-16, F-18,
Harrier, B-1, B-2 and C-17. Commercial transport programs include; DC-10, DC-11 and Boeing
aircraft from the 737 through the 777. In nuclear power, Transworld participated in the start-up
and testing of eighteen nuclear plants in the U.S.
Targeting the U.S. engineering shortfall, Chuck initiated the U.S. expatriate engineer program to
assist the development of U.S. manufacture transport aircraft. Chuck was subsequently selected
and was directly involved with the Department of Labor and Congressional leadership in
establishing guidelines for utilizing foreign technical experts in the United States.
In 1991 Chuck became President & CEO of Astro Sciences Corp., (renamed ChatCom, Inc.) a
start-up remote access computer networking firm, and resigned in 1995 to pursue investment
banking interests through newly formed Paragon & Company.
Chuck has been active in various industry associations and has appeared in Who’s Who in
Aviation in 1990. Chuck attended Los Angeles City College and California State University with a
Mechanical Engineering major. Chuck is an active pilot with 2,500 hours and holds numerous
pilot ratings.
Mark Lubash
Mark is a co-founder of Glidepath Capital Partners. He has 20 years of investment banking
experience, most recently as a Managing Director at Paragon & Company.
Mark joined Paragon & Company, Inc. in 2008 as a Partner in investment banking dedicated to
the Aerospace & Defense sector. With his experience of working with former senior executives
from firms such as Raytheon, Gulfstream and Israel Aerospace Industries, and having advised on
a variety of financing and M&A transaction types for small and midsize public and private
companies in the Aerospace & Defense sector, including such well known assets as Raytheon
Aircraft Company and the Hawk Missile Defense System. Mark is able to bring innovative
strategy, marketing and operational ideas and strategies, in addition to traditional investment
banking services.
Prior to joining Paragon, Mark spent seven years as Managing Director of Investment Banking at
Rodman & Renshaw, LLC. In this role he focused on providing financing and mergers and
acquisitions services. He initiated and co-managed the Aerospace & Defense practice at the firm.
In 2002, Rodman became the successor company to European American Capital’s boutique
investment banking practice. Mark was a Managing Director since 1994 serving small and middle
market technology, healthcare, and consumer companies.
Prior to this, Mark was a partner of DFTM Development Company, a California-based real estate
investment banking firm focused on the structuring and providing infrastructure financing for
industrial and residential real estate developments. Before joining DFTM in 1988, Mark was VP of
Operations of Raycomm TransWorld Industries, Inc.(“RTI”), an international engineering and
technical support firm with an emphasis in aerospace, defense and the nuclear power industries,
and was the Chief Operating Officer of Raycomm Telecommunications, a RTI subsidiary.
Terry Murphy
Terry is a co-founder of Glidepath Capital Partners. He has 20 years of investment banking
experience, most recently as a Managing Director at Rodman & Renshaw, LLC where he advised
companies from a broad range of industries on a wide variety of complex transactions including
public offerings, private placements, fairness opinions, and mergers and acquisitions.
Responsible for coverage of a variety of industry groups at Rodman, Terry had a particular focus
on companies in the Aerospace, Defense & Government sector.
During his association with Rodman, Terry advised on a number of financing and M&A
transactions in the Aerospace, Defense & Government sector including transactions for Colt
Defense, Raytheon Aircraft Company, EOIR Technologies, and Palmer Manufacturing among
others.
Terry joined Rodman & Renshaw, LLC in 2002 as a Managing Director. From 1994 to 2001, Terry
was a co-founder and Partner of European American Capital Corporation, a boutique investment
banking firm focused on providing private financing and mergers and acquisitions advisory
services to small and middle-market technology, healthcare and consumer companies. Terry
began his professional career in corporate finance and as a securities analyst with Culverwell &
Co., Inc., a Boston-based investment banking firm focused on providing corporate finance
services to emerging growth companies.
Terry is a graduate of Northeastern University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business
Administration. Prior to college, Terry served as an enlisted member of the United States Army.
Charlie Stott
Charlie is co-founder and Managing Director of ValuePoint Growth Partners. He has over 35
years of industrial experience, most recently as the Vice President of Corporate Development for
Raytheon Company where he led merger, acquisition and divestiture activity. During his tenure in
that position he oversaw the successful completion of numerous deals and joint ventures. His
team led the divestiture of the Raytheon Aircraft business after an extensive, two year effort and
a transaction valued in excess of $3 billion. While leading the Corporate Development office,
Raytheon divested 11 business assets, including semiconductors and other technology
businesses.
At Raytheon, Charlie served as Vice President of Business Development and Technology for the
highly diversified Commercial Electronics division and served on Raytheon subsidiary Boards
including; Flight Options, a leading fractional aircraft provider, Valeo Raytheon Systems, Inc., a
manufacturer of radar sensors and of Systemonic AG, a wireless products manufacturer.
Prior to Joining Raytheon, Charlie held various, senior level management positions in the
commercial and communications markets, including as CEO of Techsonic Industries, a
manufacturer of sonar products, Whistler Corporation, a manufacturer of consumer electronic
products, and Cobra Electronics.
Charlie attended La Salle University and Boston College and the Harvard Executive Advanced
Marketing program. He is certified as a Six Sigma Specialist.
